Had a programmer which was reporting USB errors during diagnostics.

The word from bench techs at BPM:

Have you tried bypassing the internal USB cable with y our external one to see if com is restored reliably using a different USB cable straight to the site?

You may also have an issue with U2 on the site motherboard (LPCBD04143).
Sometimes this small QFP takes a crap and com. will become intermittent as the site heats up ( this happens on older units).
This chip is next to the J10 USB receiver on the MB.


I would also check the termination of the connector at J5 on the power board (LPCBD05056). Sometimes
this can come loose, or back out of the connector.
